Born in Carcassonne, France, Matthieu Danesin started playing drums at the age of 15 and began performing professionally at the age of 19.
Matthieu graduated from the National Conservatory of Toulouse, also from the Dante Agostini drum school, and from the Berklee College of music.
His interest for all kind of music brought him to develop versatility in his drumming. That way, he worked with many different artists Leiden (dark metal), Anna Tiani (jazz/pop), Manuel Milano (jazz), Sound Struggle (prog-metal) and more recently Newtt (hardcore)

Matthieu is also composing and arranging for his own jazz project Matthieu Danesin SoundWall.
