Manu Vogel:

Manu started drumming at the age of 14. First he had lessons in Tübingen at the “Musikschule”, later at “JamClub”.

His teachers were Benni Glass, Tobi Wagner, Frank Dapper and others.

He also got his inspiration from Joe Styppa, Oli Rubow, Flo Dauner, Jost Nickel and Questlove.

In 2001 he started playing in the Alternative Rockband Subcore (later The Horst Müller Experience).

2004-2014: Manu played with Lingua Loca (Rap, Tübingen) for 10 years!

The band played a lot of concerts in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary and France.

Also a lot of Festivalgigs, such as Chiemsee Reggae Summer, Das Fest, Blue Balls and many more.

Support Shows with Culcha Candela, Fanta 4, Dellé ….

2012-2017: Manu played with Ottoman Empire Soundsystem / Unojah (Reggae/Worldmusic, Freiburg).

They played lots of concerts in Germany and France and many Festivalgigs.

2018-2022: Manu played with DLIA (Rap, Ravensburg).

They played lots of Festivalgigs and three tours through Germany. 

Since 2023: Manu is starting various new projects.
