Jordan Auber [ USA ]
Color of Rhythm
Jordan Auber (23) is a drummer/percussionist from south-eastern CT, based primarily in New York. A student of music from an early age, Jordan gained considerable experience playing with ensembles/bands throughout his early education. Going on to hone his skills at The Collective School of Music (NYC), Jordan has studied a variety of styles under the tutelage of teachers such as Peter Retzlaff, Ian Froman, Sean Conly, Isamu McGregor, Jason Gianni etc.. Versatility is a key part of his curriculum.
Specializing with drum set & Handpan (a unique instrument, new to this century), Jordan utilizes this combo coupled with electronics to create an interesting electro-acoustic mix with his project Color of Rhythm.
Balancing cyclical rhythms with ethereal melodies, Jordan’s compositions are exciting as well as relaxing, contemporary with an element of mysticism.
Although he's currently focused on Color of Rhythm, Jordan has performed/recorded with artists such as: Strange Majik (Cont. Blues), Roseum (Jazz/Rock), Shareef Keyes and the Groove (Funk), Sammy Rae & The Friends (Jazz/Pop), Ed Kowalcyk (Rock/Blues), Chandanie (R&B), Adriana Terren (Pop/R&B).
