Chris Stephenson began his passion for drumming at the age of 12 in Zweibrucken, Germany, studying under his mentor Alex Landenburg. His drumming career started at the age of 18, performing professionally as an international touring/recording artist for bands such as Cauldron, Skull Fist, Enforcer and Old James.

Chris has also taught over 100 students since the age of 16 and continues to teach at Canada’s largest music retailer/education centres, Long and Mcquade in Ottawa. Always wanting to expand his personal knowledge and over-all growth as a drummer, Chris has developed his own educational drum method book over the course of his professional career.

At the age of 27, with two JUNO nominations to his credit, along with major tours across North and South America, Europe, Japan and Mexico, Chris is now focusing on his band Old James.
