Alejando Carranza has almost 20 years experience as a professional drummer.
Self-taught, he began to show interest for percussions and music performance at age 2,
growing in a musical family with a strong musical tradition.
He got his first drum kit at age 3 and kick started his passion for drumming.

His first band was at age 13, and has continued through a rigorous process of study,
training, assimilation and immersion into the vast world of music performance and composition.
He has won awards at Expo Soundcheck, and one of his former musical projects was selected
for performance at cultural events by the Mexico City Government.

He has shared stages with hundreds of professional musicians in all genres
and with world-class performers with a long track record in the music scene
both in Mexico and internationally. These Include:

Currently he is a studio drummer and touring artist with regular dates
in venues and shows throughout Mexico and especially in his hometown, Mexico City.
