Aaron Spink is born in Scarborough, Ontario and raised mostly in Ajax, Ontario, Aaron started drumming at the age of 12 through his elementary school program and quickly developed a passion for the instrument. After eventually studying Jazz Performance for Drums and Percussion at Humber College, Aaron embarked on a performance career that has seen him play with the likes of Steve Gadd, Randy Brecker, Danilo Perez, Sarah Brightman, Beverley Mahood, Exes For Eyes, Coldjack, Abraxas: Santana Tribute, Eddie and Quincy Bullen, Nick “Brownman” Ali, Alessia Cohle, Steve Rivers, Leah Daniels, Dani Strong and Vanessa Marie Carter as well as countless theatre productions, studio sessions, and corporate acts.

In addition to being a performer, Aaron is also a clinician, educator and adjudicator. For the past 13 years Aaron has been the lead drum instructor at the Yamaha Music School in Markahm, Ontario as well as certified National Yamaha Drum Training Seminar Clinician and National Yamaha Drum Exam Adjudicator for Yamaha Canada Music Education.
